2. Processing via Email Forwarding & Browser Extension

Suitcase2Go offers automated tools designed to organize your travel itineraries seamlessly. To provide these features, we process data in the following ways:

• Email Forwarding Parsing: When you voluntarily forward travel confirmation emails to our parsing system, our automated engine extracts relevant booking metadata (such as flight times, reservation codes, hotel addresses, and guest names) to construct your itinerary board. Raw email messages are processed programmatically and are not stored in unencrypted plain text beyond what is needed to generate your travel records.
• Chrome Extension DOM Parsing: Our browser extension reads active browser page content (DOM) strictly when activated on supported travel booking confirmation pages. The extension parses booking metadata to allow one-click additions to your Suitcase2Go trip dashboard. The extension does not track your general browsing history, collect passwords, monitor keystrokes, or inspect web pages unrelated to travel bookings.

3. Payment & Subscription Processing (Stripe)

We offer paid subscription tiers for access to advanced AI trip analysis features. All payment transactions are initiated directly through our web application at app.suitcase2go.com and executed securely via our third-party payment processor, Stripe.

• Zero Storage of Cardholder Data: Suitcase2Go does not collect, process, or store payment card numbers, CVVs, or expiration dates on our servers. All sensitive cardholder data is handled directly by Stripe in compliance with PCI-DSS Level 1 standards.
• Transaction Confirmation Metadata: Stripe provides us solely with non-sensitive transaction confirmation information required to maintain your account subscription state. This data includes a unique Stripe customer ID, subscription status (e.g., active, past_due), payment confirmation status, billing zip/postal code, and basic card reference metadata (e.g., card brand and last 4 digits) for displaying invoice receipts in your dashboard.

4. Chrome Web Store User Data & Limited Use Policy

Suitcase2Go’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs or Chrome Extension permissions to any other app will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal, travel, payment, or browser data to third parties, data brokers, or advertising networks.
• We do not use or transfer your data to serve personalized advertisements, cross-context behavioral ads, or retargeting campaigns.
• We do not allow human reading of raw email or extension-parsed DOM content unless necessary for security investigations, compliance with applicable laws, or explicit technical support requested directly by you.

5. Security of Your Data

We employ industry-standard security protocols to secure your account credentials, travel notes, and synced itineraries. All communications between the browser extension, browser tab, app.suitcase2go.com, and core server are encrypted using HTTPS (TLS/SSL). Sensitive data stored on our servers is protected using role-based access controls and modern encryption techniques.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your travel itinerary and account data only for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with our services. You retain full control over your data: you can edit or remove individual reservations, clear parsed trips, manage or cancel active subscriptions, or request complete account and data deletion at any time directly through your user profile on app.suitcase2go.com or by contacting our support team.
